About Hardy Farms

  • We have excellent & professional local veterinarians (vets) & farriers (blacksmiths) to provide the best health for your horse. They can service fast emergency care when needed.
  • Barns are open 24/7 - farm office open Monday-Friday or by appointment
  • You will also find equine dentists, massage therapists & chiropractors frequently at the facility.
  • Groomed trails & fields to ride *210 acres*
  • Excellent care - owner/manager & staff lives on property
  • Overnight stalls - we welcome out of state horse travelers-as a resting stop
  • Some clinics are offered, horse events
  • 4 stall barns - 91 stalls total, we try to stay around 115 head of horses on the property
  • 2 indoor arena's 80 x 220 / 60 x 100
  • Outdoor arena with lights 150 x 220
  • Round pen set up outside
  • 2 heated observation rooms and 2 heated tack/locker rooms, with restrooms & kitchen area with fridge
  • Private lockers with saddle rack & hooks for tack you can lock
  • Indoor heated wash rack & outdoor washing area's
  • Stalls cleaned daily - bedded with sawdust
  • We grow & bale our own hay
  • Horses fed twice daily- 12% pellet
  • Daily routines - the same everyday horses fed & out by 7AM & back into stalls & fed by 6PM. Horses start to come back in 3:30-5:30PM
  • We have 5 pastures that are harrowed & brush hogged often. The geldings & mares are separated. All pastures have lean- tos for shelter & automatic richie heated waters
  • Automatic waters in the stalls summer/warmer months only, thermal buckets in the winter. When horses come in from the pastures daily to stalls they are pre-feed with hay & grain & have fresh water. In the winter horses water buckets get checked & all get watered again at night if needed
  • Hay is fed to horses when kept in for the farrier, vet or to ride. Hay is spread out in all the pastures daily as needed-depending on grass & how much they eat daily we adjust it
  • Lessons & training available
  • Transportation / trailering if needed
  • Trailer parking for a fee
  • Jumping equipment, barrels & poles (gymkhana equipment) available
  • Easy access to M-59, US-23 & I-96 / 30 miles east of MSU-Lansing
  • Private haul in's welcome by appointment only for a fee
  • No stallions & no dogs
